Outtakes is able to make any kind of training film from the simplest linear ‘how to’ production to complex, interactive, online film packages.

We have in-house researchers and writers who will ensure that the specific content you need to train is presented in the most engaging and interesting way possible. Working to your brief we will prepare detailed treatments for your approval before writing full scripts, consulting with you throughout the process. We can film using your own employees for authenticity or we can use professional actors and stuntmen (if necessary).

Short Film Clips
Short pieces of film are a concise and fun way to convey a company message, whether that is a change in procedure, details of a recent incident or an addition to existing training. Graphics, company branding, screen shots from training products can all be incorporated to reinforce the point. Outtakes can provide the film on DVD, streamed from your website or sent by email.

The cost for a 1-5 minute video testimonial/tutorial would be in the region of £1-3k based on a 1-day shoot.

Linear Film
To produce a linear film costs start at around £5k. Usually shot on your site(s) for additional impact and relevance. Typically shooting would take between 1 and 3 days and finished films are delivered within 4 – 6 weeks.

Interactive DVD's
A shorter interactive scene in the style of Blind Man's Bluff interactive would cost in the region of £3-5k. They are shot in a single day with 5-6 weeks in post-production.

To produce a complex interactive drama production in the style of ASI - Accident Scene Investigation the cost would be around £15-25k. These interactive DVDs provide over 2 hours of training and can be used by a wide range of trainees. A typical shoot would take 2-5 days and post production 8-10 weeks.

Online Interactive Film
Outtakes has developed, in partnership with Gamelab London, unique online interactivity based entirely in film. One of the great strengths of the product, aside from the realism and immersive style, is the range of ways in which the trainee interacts and learns.

The costs for online interactive film vary greatly depending on the learning management system required and the level of interactivity incorporated. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
